Computational Biology Bootcamp

All IMPRS PhD students spend one intensive week during the predoc course in Computational Biology Bootcamp, with instruction provided by both faculty and peers. The Computational Biology Bootcamp is the foundation of the computational education in the interdisciplinary curriculum of the IMPRS-CellDevoSys. It teaches the basic concepts and culture of computational biology, along with material applicable to computing in general. This includes concepts such as “algorithms," “complexity," “programming languages," “simulations," and “software." The focus is thus placed on concepts rather than specific tools, although some tools may be introduced in the course to illustrate a given concept.

Applications are welcome anytime.
