The International Max Planck Research School for Cell, Developmental and Systems Biology (IMPRS-CellDevoSys) welcomes applications for Student Research Internships in 2022.The application deadline is 31 January 2022.
Motivated students currently enrolled in Bachelor or Master studies are encouraged to apply for our Internship program. IMPRS interns take a front-row seat to engage in top-notch research. Interns are exposed to new ideas and techniques in the lab, and attend seminars given by renowned scientists. The internship experience is characterized throughout by our highly cooperative and international research environment, offering a truly unique opportunity to complement traditional university studies. Interest in our internship program has grown exponentially over the past several years, due to pleasant experiences and positive feedback from both interns and group leaders alike.
At present, 9 group leaders are seeking talented candidates for a wide range of scientific projects in this round. Typically internships last between 2-3 months, although the time span for internship research projects may vary based on the needs of the student or the group leader. The internship period is spent working on a specific scientific research question, with support and advice provided by both young and experienced researchers in the host group. Successful candidates will receive a monthly allowance of 800 Euros to support travel, housing, and living costs. Guidance in arranging travel, housing and Visa will be provided, if required.
